The Role - Account Manager / Territory Sales Engineer, Industrial Microscopy & Metrology

This market-leading organisation is now seeking to recruit a highly committed and enthusiastic Account Manager to join their Metrology and Scientific Microscopy Sales team to promote their growing portfolio of industrial and scientific instrumentation.

Following an intensive training program, the successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of metrology and industrial microscopy equipment sales, demonstrating products to prospective customers and providing training to users. Additional duties will include the manning & running of training courses and exhibitions throughout the UK. There is a requirement to use and maintain a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) database effectively as part of the role.

Your Background - Account Manager / Territory Sales Engineer, Industrial Microscopy & Metrology

Applicants of particular interest are likely to come with an industrial microscopy or metrology background, gained in either a sales, applications, service or laboratory technician capacity. You might have a general engineering or scientific background with the desire to move into a more commercial customer facing technical sales role.

You will need to be well organised, an excellent relationship builder and potential regional sales manager, with a good attention for detail, with the ability to up-sell' and to work autonomously in a field based sales capacity.
