The Role

Following expansion this market leading company now seeks to recruit a technically motivated and customer focused Field Service Engineer, responsible for the planned preventative maintenance, service and breakdown repair of leading edge analytical chemistry systems. This role is home based, and will involve travelling to pharmaceutical companies, universities, healthcare centres and medical establishments.

Your Background

To be considered for this post you should have previous experience either as a Field Service Engineer, Applications Engineer or Technical Support Engineer working on a range of laboratory and life sciences equipment – eg. LC, HPLC, GC, GCMS or Mass Spectrometry – or as a laboratory technician or scientist with extensive experience of using life sciences systems.  Ideally you will be educated with an HNC, HND or BSc in a life science discipline and have a full UK driving license and a minimum of 3 years experience with life sciences instrumentation. Of equal importance is your ability to communicate effectively at all levels with external customers and internal departments.
